FADJR Int. Theater Festival celebrates the greatness of the theater
Iran theater- In a message to the 38th Fajr International Theater Festival, Shahram Karami, General Director of Performing Arts Center, considered holding the FADJR Theater Festival as a magnificent legacy, an opportunity to celebrate the greatness of the art of theater.

He wrote:
“The theater season begins again with the Fajr International Theater Festival and Artists gathering.Holding the festival as a magnificent legacy is always accompanied by a passionate and beautiful sense of humor that captures the glory of the art of theater.
Theater is great and valuable art because it speaks of human beings and life and the mystery of existence, of pain and sorrow, of happiness and hope, of desires and dreams and of endless human dreams.
Theater is a necessity because it is an exalted and magnificent art that directs man in a dream world to the world of desires. “
He added:” The stage and the world of the show are a place for the emergence of man as the highest divine creation. The art world will be a venue for showing this human desire and nature. The human being with his intellect and knowledge is superior to other earthly beings, and the art of theater based on thought and knowledge will be a way to inform and understand the being and the world. All that we have heard so far is praising this art as the great gift of God. The greatness of this art has been repeatedly heard by philosophers, writers, artists, scholars and scholars alike, and now the greatness of this art is evident to all of us.”
He continued:” The entire artists and art groups and the large theater family across the country have been working hard for almost a year to hold the festival. This event will be another leaf of this artistic page and more than ever we need the sympathy and participation of this family to be together in this scene.”
Iran Theater-The 42nd Fadjr International Theater Festival wrapped up successfully on February 1, 2024 in Vahdat Hall.
At the beginning of the ceremony the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance , Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili, went on stage and while congratulating Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies and the the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the Rajab, month, he thanked the artists and theater officials.
Iran Theater- One of the most important efforts of Dramatic Arts Center of Iran is to consider the theater as a powerful tool to promote cultural diplomacy, which is done with performance, education and research.
Iran Theater-The the director of "Anfal" street show , Kajal Rastin described her works as a story of the pains and sufferings of women and children who were caught in the cruel wars of the region.
Iran Theater- The director of the show "Happiness in Odessa" , Reza Shahkarmi stated that the play offers an enlightening picture of human and social interactions in dealing with problems.
Iran Theater- Kamran Shahlaei’s"A Few Messy Narratives", is performing at Fadjr stage Competition. He says that the play is about loneliness and has three episodes. The cast includes one male actor and three female actors.
Iran Theater- Amir Amini said that the play deals with environmental problems and introduces the audience to the wildlife rangers who were killed and the future of our land.
Iran Theater-Amir Hamed considered his latest work as anti-war story that promotes the message of peace .The stage show "Wind, soil, blood are in my arms" is a production of Gilan province.
Iran Theater- The musical show "Resurrection of Love" is at out of competition section of the 42nd Fadjr International Theater Festival. Hossein Mosafer Astaneh said the story begins with the scene of Rumi's dying, but he comes back to life.
Iran Theater- Famous Iranian playwright and director, Davood Fathali Baygi comes to 42nd Fadjr International Theater Fesitval with his latest play "A Soiree with Moliere" which is performing out of competition.
