Fadjr 9- edition

The Ninth  FADJR International Theater Festival  was held from 13-19 February, 1991 in  Tehran. Ali Montazeri was the secretary of the festival. The festival were held at  City Theater Complex , Molavai Theater ,Sangelaj Theater Complex, Khaneh Namayesh,Damavan Theater,Kasra Theater, Kochak Theater,Golriz Theater,Lalehaye Sorkh Theater, Mehrab Hall, Nasr Theater Hall,Vahdat Hall, Vali Asr Hall and Honar Hall.                                                   

Anoushiravan Mirzaei Kouchak-sarai and  Morteza Momayez designed the official poster.

14 shows in special section , 11 shows in side section, 4 shows in the children section, 8 shows in Festival of Festivals section run in the festival.  And for the first time, short shows and plays were staged in 112 venues such as National Steel Company, Kish Island, Iran Khodro, Keshavarzi Bank, Esargharan Elementary School, and Medical Sciences University.

The festival had daily bulletin.Naser Bozorghmehr was editor-in-chief.

Japanese Puppets Exhibition was held at Wahdat Hall.

The festival was just competitive in following, directing , actress and actor. The National  Theater Critics Association announced their selections in special section, playwriting, directing, male acting, and female acting sections. It is also the first time a photography competition section has been held. 8  shows in Festival of Festivals section had been reviewed in the City Theater Complex.

The Artists who participated in the festival included Maryam Motarref, Sadroddin Hejazi, Mohammad Charmshir, Atila Pesyani, Farshad Fereshteh Hekmat, Amir Dezhakam, Abdolah Shamsai, Jalil Farjad and Ghotbeddin Sadeghi.
