The 18th Edition
The 18th FADJR International Theater Festival was held from 27 Jan to -4 Feb , 2000 with Majid Sharif-khodai as secretary of the festival.Elham Moazemi designed the official poster of FITF.
The number of performances in the various sections is as follows: 37 works in the competition section, 13 plays in out of competition, 48 works in street section, 11 works in International section(5 shows from Germany, one work from Sweden, one work from Italy, one work from Norway, one work from Palestine, one work from Armenia and one work from China), 6 shows in Review Section, 14 shows in University section and 6 shows in Taziyeh Section. University Section was added in this edition.
Seven daily Bulletins was published. Seven plays were reviewed in this edition.
Dialogue Conference in Theater at Honar University, Actor Training Workshop by Clive Barker at Cinema Theater School and Fataneh Dadkhah’s Twenty Years photography Exhibitions was held at the Vahdat Hall.
Tehran Armenian community commemorates Shahin Sarkisian with lecture by Akbar Radi and Laleh Taghian
The festival gave awards in these fields: play, Playwriting, directing, actress, actor, Scene design, music . The National Theater Critics Association announced their winners as well. During this festival, the judgment of the playwriting section was based on the plays that performed.
