The Twenty and Second Edition
The 22th FADJR International Theater Festival was held from 23 Jan to 4 Feb , 2004 with Majid Sharif-khodai as secretary of the festival.
Siamak Ehsaie designed the official poster of the 22th FITF.
The number of performances in the various sections is as follows: 50 works in the competition section, 10 works in Review Section, 23 shows in Street Theater section,10 works in Tazyeh Section, 9 shows in International section (3 works from Germany, 2 works from Switzerland, 2 works from Italy, 2 works from Portugal, 2 works from Spain and 2 works from England), 16 works in out of competition section, 10 works in play reading section and 4 shows in Tazeyeh –review section.
Tazeyeh –review section was a new section.
Ahmad Masjid Jamei (Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance), Morteza Kazemi (Deputy Minister of Art Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance) and Majid Sharif- Khodaei (Secretary) had sent a message to the festival.
11 daily Bulletins was published by management of Seyed Afshin Hashemi.and The catalog of the 21th FITF had been published and three books was published as well.
The Show “Hey, Don’t Cry Big man “ were reviewed in this edition.
At the 22th FITF some events were held such as Art Workshop at Artists Forum, Exhibition of Theater Photography in City Theater complex and Commemoration of Khosro Khorshidi, Fahimeh Rastkar, Hossein Mosafaer Astaneh and Amir Dezhkam had been held.
The festival gave awards in these fields: play , playwriting, Directing, Male Acting, Female Acting, Scene Design, Music, Audience Favorite, and Design and Idea and in street theater section and photo competition. The National Theater Critics Association announced their winners as well. During this festival, the judgment of the playwriting section was based on the plays that performed.
