The twenty Eighth Edition
The 28th FADJR International Theater Festival was held from 21-30 Jan, 2010 with Hossein Parsaie as secretary of the festival.
Yahya Pakdel designed the official poster of the 28th FITF.
The poster of Training Workshops was designed by Majid Tavakoli.
The venues were as follows: Theater City Complex, Sangelaj Theater complex, Molavi Hall, Artists Forum, Mehr Hall, Iranshahr Theater Complex, Mehrab Hall, Khaneh Namyesh in Theater Office, Vahdat Hall and Ferdowsi Hall
Street Section: area of City Theater Complex, Bagh Honar Park, Laleh Park and parking of Vahdat Hall
Play Reading Section: conference Hall of Vahdat Hall
Radio Section: Artists Forum
The number of performances in the various sections is as follows: 10 shows in Review section 2010, 18 shows in International section (8 works from Iran, 3 works from Poland, 1 work from Switzerland, 1 work from Italy, 1 work from Brazil, 1 work from Czech, 1 work from South Korea and 1 work from Iran and Germany), 16 Works in the Perspective of Iranian Theater in 2010, 5 works in New Experiment section, 10 shows in Festival of Festivals section, 13 shows in Guest Section, 21 shows in selected production of Theater Festivals , 10 works out of competition- International section (Latin American Countries and ECO Members (Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Colombia), 6 works in Nations Theater Section (6 works from Tehran, 1 from Armenia, 1 from Russia, 1 from Greece and 1 from China), 30 works in the street section ,9 works in the production of drama and play reading section , 5 works in radio and television section (85 works in radio plays and 69 works in television shows) and 5 shows in Radio section.
Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini (Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance), Mohammad Hossein Imani -Khoshkhoo (Deputy Minister of Art of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the time) and Hossein Parsaie (Director of Performing Arts) had sent messages to the festival.
10 daily Bulletins were published by management of AliAkbar Abdolalizade. The Book of the 28th FITF had been published.
8 play books, , some books such as Frame Book 2010 (Selected photos the 28th FITF) were published.
Some events were held during the 28th FITF included : 8 Workshops at Artists Forum, City Theater complex, Molavi Hall, Vahdat Hall, Festival Photo Contest Exhibition at Artists Forum, Old Projectors Exhibition by Mojtaba Givian at Theatrical Programs were held.
Celebration of Atila Pesiani, Mohammad Reza Khaki, Behrooz Gharibpour, Maryam Motaref, Mohammad Hadi Namvar, Fatan Dadkhah and Ebrahim Haghighi was organized.
The first Iran theater market was managed by Mohammad Atebai on the second floor of Vahdat Hall.
The 28th FITF included competitive sections:
International Competition: Music, Stage Design, Female Acting, Male Acting, Director and Grand Prix and special Jury Award.
Street Section : Music, Costume Design, Female Acting, Male Acting, Design and Idea, Directing & Audience Award
Radio and Television Sections: Sound, Editing, Producer, Playwriting, Directing, Female Acting, Male Acting, Television Director, Art Director, light ,Photographer and Editor. Photography and poster sections were competitive as well.
The opening ceremony of the festival was held at the City Theater Complex and the closing ceremony of the best Iranian theater (photo, street, radio and television section) took place at the main hall of the Iranshahr Theater Complex . The closing ceremony of the International Competition and Commemoration was held in Vahdat Hall.
