The 37th Festival

The 37th Fadjr  International Theater Festival was held from in Tehran held in from February 11 to 23with  Nader Borhani Marand as  secretary. 

Saeed Rezvani designed the official poster of  the 37th FITF.A

During this  edition ,  shows  were staged in these venues such as :

Stage Section: City Theater Complex, Sangelaj Theater Complex, Vahdat Hall,Hafez Hall, Ferdowsi Hall, Artists Forum, Iranshahr Theater Complex, Sarv Theater Hall,Khaneh Theater.

. Plus Fadjr Section: Maktab Tehran Hall, Mostaghel Theater Hall, Daa Theater Hall, She Noghteh Hall, Maan Hall, Nofelloshato Theater Complex, Iran Tamasha Theater Hall, Divar Chaharom Theater Hall, Shanoo Theater Hall and Homaye Saadat Hall.

Street Section: Honar Garden  in Artists Forum,  Evin Prison, outdoor of City Theater Complex and Vali asr Metro station.                                                                                                    

The number of performances in the various sections is as follows:12 shows in New experience- Iran section, 13 shows in    New Generation- Iran section, 8 shows in Iran-section, 21 shows in special Section, 3 shows in Special-Iran Section,6 shows in International  competition section, 9 shows in International Section (1 work from Australia, 1 work from Azerbaijan, 1 work from Hungary, 1 work from Italy, 1 work from Armenia, 1 work from South Korea, 1 work from Lebanon, 1 work from Iran and 1 work from Iran and Switzerland), 13 shows in Selected Theater of provinces Section,   7 shows in Street-side section  , 9 shows in playwriting Section, 12 shows in Radio Theater section.

Seyed Ali Salehi  (Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance), Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini (Deputy of Art Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance)  ,  Shahram Karami (Director of the Performing Arts) and  Nader Borhani Marand(Secretary) had sent messages to the festival.

10 daily Bulletins ,Book of the 37th FITF had been published .some  books were published.  .

At the 37th FITF  some events were held  such as  five  training workshops at  Mehrab Theater Complex and  Roudaki Center, arists Forum, Vahdat Hall , Specialized playwriting sessions in City Theater Complex, Research Seminar Studying theater after the Islamic Revolution , photo exhibition in Iranian Academy of the Arts  and poster  exhibition in  artist Forum  had been held.

Reza Babak, Houshang Tavakoli, Roya Teimourian and Mohammad Amir Yarahmadi were honored.

During this edition, the winners of various sections such as radio, international, photography and posters were awarded in closing ceremony.

The opening ceremony of the festival was held at the Abolfazl Aali Gallery and Khaneh Akasan (hoze Honari) and closing ceremony was held in the Vahdat Hall.
