Ali -Mohamad Radmansh: Theater can be a major breakthrough
Iran Theater- Ali -Mohammad Radmanesh is optimistic about the country's street theater and believes that this kind of show can be very helpful in various matters.
The street theater competition of Fadjr Festival will be held with the participation of 20 shows among the 197 works applying to participate in this event from all over the country. Ali- Mohammad Radmanesh, Asghar Khalili and Ali- Asghar Khatibzadeh as members of the selection committee introduced the lineup.
Radmanesh said about how the shows were chosen: "There was a wonderful reception from active street theater artists across the country. Submitted works can be divided into three parts; First is the works that were chosen by other festivals and regional festivals. The second part are new productions and the third part are the works that were present in other festivals and were neglected due to the terms of the call. The full lineup has high quality. Also, some of the shows that are considered new productions can contain interesting points because they originate from the high vision and thought of their group. "
Radmanesh also said about the importance of Fadjr International Theater Festival: "This festival has introduced young talents to the whole in these years. The festival and the street theater competition is very important for the artists of this fieldIt has contributed to the development of artists and played an important role in the livelihood of street theater artists. The street theater section in Fadjr festival made the researchers of street theater grow and some of them translate and write books and all this shaped the street theater. I am optimistic about the future of street theater in the country and I am sure that it can be very helpful in various matters."
