Atabak Naderi  meets with the Kyrgyz theater troupe

The head of the General Directorate of Dramatic Arts and the artistic director of the 43rd Fadjr International Theater Festival met with the Kyrgyz theater troupe.

Atabak Naderi, Head of the General Department of Dramatic Arts, met with the Kyrgyz Theater Group on the sidelines of the third day of the 43rd Fadjr International Theater Festival.

 

Kheyrollah Taghyanipour (Fadjr artistic director), Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Mehdi Behdarvand (Advisor to the artistic director of Fadjr), and Mozhgan Vakili (International Department Director) were present at the meeting.

Naderi told the theater artists of Kyrgyzstan: "Iran has many mix cultures. From the Persian Gulf in southern Iran to northern Iran and the Caspian Sea, we are faced with the cultural diversity of different ethnic groups such as Kurds, Lors, Turks, Persians, Baluchis, Arabs, and so on. This cultural diversity is what we have in common with other neighboring countries."

                                                                                                                                           

He went on to say: "The Kyrgyz Republic has had a strong presence in our festivals in recent years. Our government has always been at the forefront of cultural-artistic diplomacy and has tried to maintain its relations with other countries in all political circumstances."

Atabak Naderi emphasized:” The Fadjr International Theater Festival is one of the largest festivals in the region. We have always hosted great artists from different countries throughout the years. We have the greatest asset in Iranian theater, which is the audience, and we are proud of it.”

Atabek Naderi said: "The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan is very fond of art. He is actively involved in cultural exchanges, and this encourages us to continue cultural relations with your country. I hope that attending this great event was interesting for you."

The artistic director of Fadjr,Kheyrollah Taghyanipour said that we have many cultural similarities with Kyrgyzstan and we hope that this cultural exchange in theater will continue.

 

The representative of the Kyrgyz National Theater expressed his gratitude to the Director General of Dramatic Arts, said: "This is our first experience in Iran and we are very grateful for your invitation to attend the festival. Fortunately, the Iranian audience's reception and support of our work was very good, and it shows their love for the arts."

Referring to the organization of the festival and the good coordination of the executive staff, he continued: “We met other artists from the Nations section at FITF, and we also watched an Iranian work on the first day of the festival, which was very enjoyable.”

 

Referring to their theater group, the artist said: “Our theater is a young state theater that is 24 years old. Of course, our oldest theater in Kyrgyzstan has been established and operating for 98 years. We hope to be able to invite Iranian artists to come to our country at the only international festival in Kyrgyzstan, which is held every two years.”
