Performing An Iranian Play by Russian Artists

“Forgetfulness” by Eskandar Skayov is a play from Russia with Iranian text which participated in International Section of 33rd Fadjr Theatre Festival.

According to public relations of 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival, “Forgetfulness” directing by Dariush Rabeeie and directed by Eskandar Skayov with Russian actors was performed on 6th day of the festival in Baran Theatre. 
Dariush Rabeeie has written the text in Persian and Eskandar Skayov directed the translated text to Russian. The play is about a couple who gets Alzheimer and forgets their jobs which is singing and writing. 
The play is based on elements of biomechanical Mirhold; a technique which will be taught by Eskandar Skayov and his colleague to Iranian audience. “Biomechanical Mirhold is a special style for working in theatre and expressing emotions. In this style, being close to each text is different.” 
“Forgetfulness” will be performed on Tuesday January 27th in its 2nd and last performance at 4 p.m. in Baran Theatre.
