The boss of Belgian Unima: transferring the feeling is more important than the form of the puppet

Ronny Aelbrecht, the boss of Belgian Unima, confirmed that Belgian artists work without the governmental support.
According to public relations of 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival, Ronny Aelbrecht had a speech on puppet theater in Europe in Amirkhani Hall of Iranshahr on the fifth day of the festival.
This Belgian artist confirmed :” Some of the artists in puppet theater pay attention to the physical form and function of the marionette but I believe in transferring feelings to the audience.” This speech was one of the programs in the part of workshops and educational seminars.
He talked about the situation of Belgian theater and explained:” In Belgium, the government does not support theater. For instance if a problem occurs for our own company, we can not continue our artistic work. Generally, it is one of the characteristics to work without the governmental support for Belgian artists.”
The boss of the Belgian Unima talked about the familiarity with Iranian theater and said:” I attended in Tehran puppet theater festival in 1377 for the first time, but I was already familiar with Iranian theater in different international festivals and I also watched some Iranian plays.”
33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival was held from 1st to 12th Bahman In Tehran managed by Ardeshir Salehpour.
