“Odyssey Complex”,takes the Audience of Fadjr Festival to a journey between dream and reality

According to public relations of 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival, ”Odyssey complex” directed by Felix Mathias Ott, will be on stage on Thursday and Friday,2nd and 3rd of Bahman,at 6:00 and 8:00 pm.
As the director said, this play is not a reprise nor an actualization of the Homeric myth, but a reversible visit of its landscape, experimented in the “here and now”. It is about retelling an ancestral poem, in our complex and multilayered language and is Ulysses’s journey by the nomads we are today.
The spectator is invited for such a trip through media, between reality and fiction. Conscious and hidden elements are calling for his own connections and imagination in order to find the location of their full existence. We follow the protagonist on a breathless odyssey through the night. He leaves reality behind him.
This road is taken by many artists. Eike von Stuckenbrok, Gaspard Gilbert are the performers of this play and the film part is created by Benjamin Brix, Steffen Martin, Andreas Müller, Aiko Okamoto, Felix M. Ott. and Alex Kassian are responsible for sound and Light is designed by Martin Pilz and Stage director is Benjamin Brix and Felix M. Ott.
