An Interview with So Kyang Jin, Instructor of Workshop "Bongsan Telchulms"

I was greatly surprised at Iranian students who took part in the workshop "Bongsan Telchulms"

In his interview with correspondent of Public Relations committee of 32nd Fadjr Theatre Festival, So Kyang Jin, the instructor of the workshop entitled "Bongsan Telchulms" said:
I fully appreciate talented Iranian students participated at this workshop and I also admire their abilities in painting and mask designing which made me greatly surprised.
He went on:
Despite we speak different languages; we could communicate effectively with each other. I am so happy to be taking part at 32nd Fadjr Theater Festival and I`m so interested to know more about the Iran`s culture.
About production process of this theater, he explained: "Bongsan Telchulms" meaning "Mask Dance" originates from North Korea. During the war between South Korea and the North Korea, North Korean dancers took refuge in South Korea so that this traditional dance was tendered to the public in South Korea. It should be noted this theatre is considered as traditional performance in South Korea and it mustn't be performed in North Korea.
He noted: this theater depicting all human`s feelings such as anger, sadness, or happiness has different stories. Here in this festival the theater narrates life story of a nun practicing heresy decides to live in peace.
"Bongsan Telchulms" held in Maan Theater since January 16 till January 20 and it results in a performance by Iranian students.
