Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs,
Hamid Shahabadi sends his message to Fadjr International Fest

Based on reports by News Headquarter of 31st Fadjr Festival, the content of Hamid Shahabadi’s message opening with a verse by a Ghazal of Hafiz is as follows:
By concord with darkish beauty, the world Thy beauty took.
Yes; by concord, the world one can take.
Every year Fadjr Festival is in fact an opportunity to flourish and grow fresh ideas; and it is like the season of spring commencing with enthusiasm, faith, hope, awareness, sensibility, and emotion. In a word, it is the celebration of the exhilarating fruits of Islamic Art; a branch of art bringing together capability and delicacy at the service of spirituality, morality, individual and social virtues, and a permanent world peace. It is a celebration that in its most valuable moments and through each research session or each observation of its stage, play, and speech, or on the whole through whatever to be called or formed as a “theatre”, we would be able to have a new sprout blossomed out (and to have a flourishing event).
This florescence is rooted in the effective and up-to-date techniques of Iran’s and world theatre, and also in the dynamic and rich culture and art of Islam. This is actually the fact that distinguishes and honors the theatre of this holy and ancient country as a unique phenomenon while respecting the necessity to globalize its theatre. It leads to honor the improvements of Iran’s Drama and to believe in a festival which tends to be the most purposeful artistic event of the day.
Moreover, we are aware of this inevitable truth that with all the attempts done in the research sections and facilities, and by the use of helpful previous experiences and more effective management, yet this festival has neither achieved the perfection and thoroughness expected for the Islamic Revolution of Iran nor has reached the culture building and religion spreading goals of the government. But by looking at this festival with respect and in a fair way, its outstanding accomplishments can not be ignored.”
He continues quoting a verse by an Iranian poet, Gheisar Aminpour, and concludes:
“Now I urge myself to appreciate the endeavors of all dedicated colleagues and co-workers in the organization of “31st Fadjr International Theatre Festival” while wishing everyone in this arena and all around the country, health, honor, and a long artistic life and praying for them to have everlasting prosperity and success.”
