A Competition among 24 plays
Fadjr Theater Festival announces the “International Competition” plays
According to the News Headquarter of 31st Fadjr International Theatre Festival, twenty four plays will take part in the International Section of the festival as following:
1. “Arakhsh” written and directed by Masoud Delkhah from Tehran.
2. “Pinocchio Doroogh Begoo” (Tell a Lie Pinocchio) written by Farhad Naghd Ali and directed by Farhad Tajvidi from Tehran.
3. “Khoon-o Matik” (Blood & Lipstick) written by Sahra Ramezanian and directed by Soroush Taheri form Tehran.”
4. “Domino-e- Elahi” (The Devine Domino) written and directed by Mehdi Amin Lari from Tehran.
5. “Rakeb” (The Rider) written by Jamshid Khanian and directed by Kourosh Zarei from Qom.
6. “Toufan” (The Storm) writtend by Seyed Hossein Fadayi Hossein and directed by Arash Dadgar from Tehran.
7. “Gharȃr” (A Date) written by Tala Motazedi and directed by Siamak Ehsaei from Tehran.
8. “Gilgamesh” written and directed by Babak Mehri from Tehran.
9. “Mesl-e Ȃb Baray-e Chocoat” (Like Water for the Chocolate) written and directed by Ebrahim Poshtkouhi from Abumusa.
10. “MorakkabKhani and Death Orchestra” written by Hamidreza Naeemi and directed by Mahmoudreza Rahimi from Tehran.
11. “Man Khoda-rȃ Doost Dȃram”(I Love the God) written by Hossein Ebrahimi and directed by Abdolmohamad Salari from Bandar-e Lengeh.
12. “Nane Delȃvar Biroon, Posht-e-Dar” (Nane Delȃvar is outside, behind the Door) written and directed by Sajjad Afsharian from Tehran.
13. “Vaghti Woody Allen, Madame Bouvarie-ra Tarjih Midahad” (When Woody Allen prefers Madam Bouvarie) written by Sajjad Afsharian and directed by Atefeh Tehrani from Tehran.
14. “Woyzeck” based on Georg Büchner stage-play and directed by Reza Servati from Tehran.
15. “Hamlet” written by Mohammad Charmshir and directed by Reza Gouran from Tehran.
16. “Tell/Zahhak” directed by Aliasghar Dashti and Niklaus Helbling as a jointly performance from Iran and Switzerland.
17. “1+1” jointly directed by Omid Niaz from Iran and Guglielmo Papa from Italy.
18. “DesdeMONA” directed by Anatoly Frusin from Australia.
19. “The Woman Rushed under the Train” directed by Mehriban Alekperzadeh from Azarbaijan.
20. “King Ubu” directed by Zoltan Balazs from Hungary.
21. “Seven+7” directed by Eric Deniaud from Lebanon.
22. "Hotel Splendid" directed by Chung-euy Park from South Korea.
23. “Mimomania” directed by Eric Barsegian from Armenia.
24. “La Tempesta” directed by Lorella Serni and Duccio Barlucchi from Italy.
The 31st Fadjr International Theatre Festival will be held from January 15 through January 31, by Saeed KeshanFallah as the secretary of the festival, in Tehran and five other provinces.
