Korea’s “Splendid Hotel” at Fadjr Theatre Festival

The play “Splendid Hotel” written by Lavonne Mueller is going to be directed by Chung-euy Park from South Korea at 31st Fadjr Theatre Festival.
The work of the Theatre Troupe “Cho-In” stages the life of four women named as Keun-Soon, Ok Dong Ya, Shun Hi, and Bo-By who were abused by the Japanese Army, as reported by the News Headquarter of 31st Fadjr International Theatre Festival. They are looking forward to seeing the end of the war and escaping the cruelty of army soldiers till Keun-Soon plans on breaking out.
Yi-soon Joung, Sang-hee Lee, Sura Sohn, Misoon Jee, Young-ho Lee, and Sang-ja Lee are among the actresses playing “Splendid Hotel”, a play attempting to promote the logical and aesthetic approaches toward theatre.
“Splendid Hotel” has been performed earlier at other festivals such as Seoul International Festival (2008), FIBA International Festival in Argentina (2009), and Feria de Festival in Spain (2011), winning some prizes.
The 31st Fadjr International Theatre Festival will be held from January15 through January 31, by Saeed KeshanFallah as the secretary of the festival, in Tehran and five other provinces.
