The 1st day of the Fadjr Festival witnessed so many events which are briefly reported.
Bahram Beyzai in the 28th Fadjr Festival
Watching “Hamlet, the Small Prince of Denmark”, Bahram Beyzai and his wife Mojde Shamsai, were among the special spectators of the performance. The play premiered late Dec at the first stage of the Iranshahr Theater.
Journalists’ Hangout
Due to the journalists’ comfort, the City Theater has provided a special meeting place equipped with high speed internet access, in which journalists can write their reports.
Vahdat Hall conquered by Azeris
Hosting a performance of Mashdi Ebad by Janat Salim Ava, Vahdat Hall witnessed lots of Azeri spectators who had come to watch the production.
First Bulletin of the Festival
The first bulletin of the festival titled “Theater of 1388” was released at 14:30 on the first day of the festival. The bilingual bulletin includes reports on the first day’s works, Legend & Myth Workshop and a talk with the festival’s director, Hussein Parsai.
Well-Organized Performances
All of the first day performances of the City Theater were staged regularly. The organizers played an important role to systemize the shows.
Foreign Spectators
The presence of the foreigners at the waiting hall of the City Theater with map and the festival’s program was eye-catching.
Master Harold...and the Boys
The festival opened on Jan 22 at the conference hall of the city theater by a reading of the master piece of Athol Fugard “Master Harold...and the Boys” directed by Roham Makhdoumi.
The 28th Fadjr International Theater Festival has taken place from Jan 22 to 31 in Tehran, under the direction of Hussein Parsai.
