Vahid Lak, the manager of the festival’s province section, in an interview with the News Headquarter announced: “This year edition of Fadjr International Theatre Festival began with the motto “Theatre for All”, and as it has been declared in different interviews and invitations by Saeed Keshan Fallah (secretary of the festival) and Ghader Ashena (general director of the Dramatic Art Centre), the provincial Fadjr Festival has opened officially in January 15, aiming at renewing the Iranian Drama and proposing befitting structural and thematic patterns in this arena.”
He added: “By the schedules of province section and also with the help of various consultations and interaction carried out in General Departments, each province was supposed to officially announce their interest in attending the festival to the bureau of Dramatic Arts. There have been sent many applicants to the Festival Secretariat and Provinces Coordination Center, among which only five were selected after evaluating their facilities and conditions.”
