Workshop of “Puppet Therapy”

According to the News Headquarter of the Festival, there is going to be a workshop of “Puppet Therapy” by Barbara Scheel from Germany at the School of Theatre and Cinema of Tehran Art University.
Born in 1942 in Germany, Barbara Scheel is the university lecturer for psychology at the Educational Psychology Institute of Frankfurt University. She has been the member of UNIMA Germany since 1976. Her main specialty is in Drama Therapy with Puppetry. In 1984 she established the “Association of Puppet Therapy” and since then she has held different educational workshops, called “BABUSCHKA”, in many countries.
Barbara Scheel is going to lecture on the subject of “Theatre Therapy by Puppetry” in Shahid Falahatpour Auditorium at the School of Theatre and Cinema on Saturday, Jan 19, from 10 to 10:30 a.m (Tehran Zone Time).
The workshop runs from Sunday, Jan 20 till Wednesday, Jan 23 at the School of Cinema of Tehran Art University. The sessions will be held each day from 10 to 12:30 for Women and 14 to 16:30 for Men. This workshop is only available for those puppeteers who has registered before.
The 31st Fadjr International Theatre Festival began on January 26 on the section of “Radio Theatre” and side section of “Street (Ritual) Theatre” and will continue until January 31.
