Majid Ghadimi who participated in Outdoor Section of 33rd Fadjr International Theatre Festival with “Talkhand” (Bitter Smile) said that the play is about innocence of Palestinian people.
In a received report from public relations of 33rd Fadjr Theatre Festival, Majid Ghadimi who participated in the festival from Razan town of Hamedan counts his work as a global which is about Gaza. He says: “Our play is about something which can happen in every corner of the world. A dead child is fallen on the street but everybody pass beside of him without any attention. Another man is beside of him who drinks a glass of drink with ice wore a suit and… “
Director of “Talkhand” play continued: “My main goal is satisfying my audience and making a theatre about innocence of Palestinian people. I don’t like to make a work just limited to my city or country. I like global subjects which cover bigger radius. I also want to remind this issue that Iranian people never give up supporting Palestinian people.”
Majid Ghadimi counts Fadjr Theatre Festival as the most important event in Iranian theatre and added: “This year with some problems which have happened and the delay in introducing the director of the festival I thought that the trend of selecting works also be with delay but fortunately everything was on time and it seems that a professional team are behind the festival.”
33rd Fadjr Theatre Festival with directorship of Ardeshir Salehpour will be held from 21st January to 1st February 2015.
