Daniel Namazi said that he shaped “A Free Adaptation of Servants” based on two specialties of employee and employer of people which is participated in the New Generation section of 33rd Fadjr International Theatre Festival.

In a received report from public relations of 33rd Fadjr Theatre Festival, Danial Namazi is one of the youngest directors who participated in the New Generation section of 33rd Fadjr International Theatre Festival with “A Free Adaptation of Servants”. He pointed to this issue that the play is based on Jean Genet’s “Servants” and said: “When you read the text for the first time you feel that it is about people who lost their identities and they seek themselves in other people but as you become deeper you see that it is not.”
He explained that he has worked on the text for one year and half and he considered all of its dimensions and continued: “In fact, all the characters if the play are those who take identities of people and say that others will have identity if they have his identity, so I formed the play based on two specialties of employee and employer of people and I brought it to the world of fiction.”
“The play is narrated in two parts; one is based on “Servants” and another one is a operatic narrative which was put in the text. These two parts are mixed together.” Namazi assured.
33rd Fadjr Theatre Festival with directorship of Ardeshir Salehpour will be held from 21st January to 1st February 2015.
