Hossein Fadayi Hossein: The age condition for the new generation section has to be omitted
Hossein Fadayi Hossein says that type of the look to the performing techniques among the directors in the new generation part were much more noticeable this year.
According to public relations of 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival , Hossein Fadayi Hossein ,one of the members in selection committee for the new generation part, talks about the accepted plays and said: “ There were nothing special about the texts but the important thing was about the performances. There was a brand new vision in some plays which was very noticeable.”
He confirmed:” If there were a clear plan to let the different experiences be in this section, the plays would certainly be in a much better situation having a better quality. That is not enough to be young , therefore the age condition should not be a basis to accept the play for the new generation part.”
Fadayi Hossein talked about the workshop performing in young director ’works and added:” workshop plays are notable because they do not have a pre-set text but the groups should have a professional writer or dramaturge. Because the director alone, might take the play to a wrong route that cannot form a stable and strong drama.”
33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival will be held from 1st to 12th Bahman managed by Ardeshir Salehpour.
