Mohammad Ali Keshavarz who is hospitalized in his home because of his leg fracture wished the best for all the present artists in Fadjr Theatre Festival and advised them.
In a received report from public relations of 33rd Fadjr Theatre Festival, the veteran theatre, TV and cinema actor pointed to rich background of Iranian culture and literature and said: “I asked all the theatre artists specially dear youth to pay attention to Iranian ancient treasure of literature. They must dramatize works of Ferdowsi, Mowlana, Sa’adi, and…and change them to plays and perform. In this way they can make a Fadjr Theatre Festival to a one hundred percent Iranian cultural event.”
“We shouldn’t underestimate ourselves. If westerns have Shakespeare, Molier and Chekhov we also have many poets, wise men and writers from 2500 years ago until now who spoke about the most important subjects of the human being; subjects which have been human concerns from heart of history and always is fresh.”
“From 1981 to recent years, I’ve seen many brilliant works in Fadjr Theatre Festival which most of them were worked by youth. I wish I could see them too but my physical situation doesn’t allow me to do it.” Mohammad Ali Keshavarz added.
33rd Fadjr Theatre Festival with directorship of Ardeshir Salehpour will be held from 21st January to 1st February 2015.
