Drama is not restricted to literature

In an interview with the 29th Fadjr Festival news base, Amir Dejakam said: some artists think that drama is restricted to literature, whereas one of our main scales in choosing works in New Experience part was the sketches of plays and their director’s idea about how to use new techniques in forming their plays on stage.
He added: some other artists who wanted to be presented in this part, had some workshop ideas which was based on improvisation, we also mentioned these plays and paid more attention to those which had executive abilities. 
He said: there were some other works too, which were hard to be performed, I mean those which there is no well-equipped saloons for them to be performed in this festival, so we decided to chose those plays which were performable according to our equipments. 
He also added: we don’t deny having new experiences in literature, as we can see there are some plays which turned our interest because of their precious look into literature, but still our main attention was toward performance. 
When we asked Dejakam if the names of some specific artists were more important than their works in having them in Fadjr Festival or not, he answered: there is a spatial and specific view in all of the accepted plays so we never involve our personal taste in such odd situations.
He said: all the 235 submitted dramas had valuable artistic and technical capacities which made it hard for selection committee to choose some of them, on the other hand, the name of applicant artists and their education, university and theater experiences background were some of our important scales in selection, We also consider dramatic sketches and their capacities on stage too.
He continued: I suggest adding a new part to Fadjr Festival which is limited on those directors who are having their first experience in this festival, so we can prepare a better chance for those starters who demand their first attend in this festival.
