Festival is not the criterion of progress

about having or not having a competitive Fadjr Festival Alizad said: I have no Idea in this field. It depends on Festival organizers opinion to hold a festival in a competitive or uncompetitive shape. 
He continued his talk about Theater of Iran's relationship with other countries and said: according to all limitations in this country, Theater relationship with other countries has become very limited too. These kinds of relationships have to be bilateral, I mean we have to have groups sent to other countries and also have different theatre groups from different countries here. When we just have some specific foreigner groups from specific countries and no other ones, I can't call it relationship and also we have to be able to send Iranian theatre groups to other countries.
He also said his opinion about selecting process in Fadjr theatre Festival: one of my works rejected two years ago, it is not important why but I have to say that those who have came to see my work were not suitable ones, they didn't have any background in criticizing or writing an article in somewhere. Those who come to judge a play have to be knowledgeable besides having practical experiences. Unfortunately, we can see some illiterate and inexperienced ones who are judging and selecting plays for Festival these recent years. 
He said: Fadjre Theatre Festival is merely a display which we can see some plays in it and rarely can you face qualified plays in it too. For instance, some years ago we could see more good events in this festival and that was for two reasons. One; plays came from abroad had were various and directors were number one in their works too so you could see a vast range of various plays in festival which could improve your dramatic knowledge. Two; there were more diversity in Iranian attended directors in festival. Neither foreign groups nor Iranian groups have that diversity these days, so Festival is not the criterion of progress, at most it may provide public performance chance for theatre attended groups.
