The site provides an interactive space for Iranian and foreign audiences

Iran Theater-The Unveiling of the History book  and Phase I of FITF's Complete Web Site was held at the City Theater Complex on Sunday, February 9^th . Shahram Karami, director of the performing arts Center, said at the event that FITF  website provides an interactive space for both domestic and foreign audiences.

At the start of the event, Vahid Lak, director of public relations of  festival  pointed out the importance of the need for  theater database,  he said:” Hopefully, with the new idea put forward to build a database website, this problem will  be lessen today, and we can eliminate some of FITF's information problems by launching  the site and releasing the  book.”

" Today is a good day for me because with the efforts of my  colleagues they have tried to make  some part of the history of Iranian theater, FITF, to be available to Iranian  and foreign audiences." Said  Nader Brahani Marand, secretary of FITF.

Shahram Karami  emphasized:” The launch of FITF website is a must for this year's  festival  and will be unveiled on the last day of the festival. This site provides an interactive space for Iranian  and foreign audiences. Having a site that had all the information of past courses for this art event was an important goal that should have been set up beforehand, and past directors have made great efforts to make this happen, but for whatever reason, this unveiling has not been accomplished Hopefully then this web site will be able to communicate this event to all Iranian and foreign audiences.”

Ali Akbar Abdolali Zadeh, director and editor-in-chief of Iran Theater, pointed out the importance of the media's role, "We are at the last day of FITF and we all know very well that there is a great contribution to be made by the journalists and the media in particular . As the tool of the media, and especially of researchers in the field of data , we know that what is always missing is the lack of available information and data center.”

“Having  new research  theater resources   makes it easier for researchers to access information and increase the quality of content in the media. I hope that launching this site will also increase  better reports  in the media, thereby increasing the importance and priority of the performing arts.”
