Parham Khakzad: The number of student theater festivals should be increased

Iran Theater- Parham Khakzad believes that the most important theatrical events in Iran are students festivals , because the works of this generation are full of creativity and new ideas.
The play "Behind the Door" directed by Parham Khakzad is performed in the student section of the Fadjr Festival and was staged on January 24 in the main hall of Molavi Hall. It recently won the People's choice award at the Ham Aghaz Festival.
"I am not interested in explaining about my works, because a show is produced for the audience and I prefer to say my words in my works.", Khakzad says on his show.
He goes on to say: "In the last two years, like many other students, I follow to hold the student festival again. I am happy that the student section has been added in the FITF. I hope that independent student theater festivals will be supported as well."
There are challenges for the production team and the director to stage a student show like "Behind the Door".
Khakzaed explains: "There are many difficulties for young theater troupes. There is no support for rehearsal place, but I will continue my activities independently. Festivals provide an opportunity to be seen. Therefore, there is a need to increase the number of student theater events. "
Khakzad is optimistic about the student section: "Many art lovers see theater in the festival and this is a positive thing. The audience is the priority for production of any show. Apart from entertaining the audience, we must be able to engage their mind and leave an impression on them. "
He concludes: "The public performance of a play is very important, But the support of the festival authorities should not be limited only to providing the hall. "
