the press conference of the 28th Fadjr International Theater Festival was held in the presence of 210 journalists.

Directed by Peyman Shariati, “Narrations of Revolution” will be performed by young and veteran narrators at the 28th Fadjr International Theater Festival.

The Fadjr theater festival has a prominent place among other festivals and important events of theater; and this is where we can see an intercourse between Iran and other countries of the world.

Invitation of Peter Brook`s "Grand Inquisitor" to the 28th Fadjr International Theater Festival ,confronted different reactions and some could not tolerate the inclusion of this show at Fadjr Festival in Iran.

The outstanding musical “Olmasion Bu Olson” which is known as “Mashdi Ebad”, will be staged by Baku artists at the 28th Fadjr International Theater Festival.

The outdoor space of the City Theater and the Vahdat Hall’s parking lot will host the Fadjr Festival besides the 19 venues.

Having toured to USA, Khaseb first performed “Mud” as a street performance in the 25th round of the Fadjr festival.

Tele-Theater & Radio Drama Section Jurors of the Radio & Tele-Theater Section were introduced.

The web site of the festival has been equipped with a film gallery. Regarding the slowness of the internet in Iran, the gallery has been designed to be accessible in Tehran and other cities,

Eight specialized workshops will be held besides the festival. A group of British theater figures and 6 Iranian theater artists will hold Contemporary Myth from 21 to 25 January; Levan Khetaguri the international juror will hold a workshop, New Languages for Contemporary Theater on 23rd of January.

The jury of the International Competition section of the festival includes three well-known artists from Canada, Sweden and Georgia.

A selection of the best stage productions of the Iran’s theater festivals will be stage in the 28th Fadjr International Theater Festival.
